CipherDriveOne has undergone rigorist testing and certifications to meet and exceed standards to be listed on the NSA's CSfC website 

CipherDriveOne is FIPS 140-2 Validated

FIPS 140-2

 The Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) Publication 140-2 is a U.S. government standard. FIPS is based on Section 5131 of the Information Technology Management Reform Act of 1996. It defines the minimum security requirements for cryptographic modules in IT products.

 Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) is an important part of NSA's commercial cybersecurity strategy to deliver secure cybersecurity solutions leveraging commercial technologies and products to deliver cybersecurity solutions quickly. It is founded on the principle that properly configured, layered solutions can provide adequate protection of classified data in a variety of different applications. 

CipherDriveOne is common criteria certifed

Common Criteria Certified

 Common Criteria is a framework in which computer system users can specify their security functional and assurance requirements (SFRs and SARs, respectively) in a Security Target (ST), and may be taken from Protection Profiles (PPs). Vendors can then implement or make claims about the security attributes of their products, and testing laboratories can evaluate the products to determine if they actually meet the claims

NIAP Tested

 The National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) is responsible for U.S. implementation of the Common Criteria, including management of the NIAP Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme (CCEVS) validation body.  NIAP manages a national program for developing Protection Profiles, evaluation methodologies, and policies that will ensure achievable, repeatable, and testable requirements.  In partnership with NIST, NIAP also approves Common Criteria Testing Laboratories to conduct these security evaluations in private sector operations across the U.S.
